The Elqui Valley

Many consider the Elqui Valley a very special place.
Its different features attract all kind of visitors. First of all, the clear skies (320 days a year) offers a very unique opportunity for astronomic activities and observations. The valley is also the cradle of ancient culture, still alive in local traditions and handicraft.
The ground and the climate allows the cultivation of wine and grapes for the famous pisco (Chilean national drink).
A lot of small communities in search of spirituality also exists here - using the special energies of this valley for their visions.
